You are what you DRINK!!!

Our human body consist 70% water. Majority of the water in our bodies is contained inside our cells. Our billions of cells must have water to live.  The amount of water in our bodies is found in three places: inside our cells, in the space between our cells and in our blood. Our blood contains 80-90% water. The average man is made up of about 42 liters of water. The amount of water a body contains varies according to certain contexts. A newborn baby possess more water (75%), an elderly person possess less water (50%). The more muscular a body is, the more water it contains. The more fat in the body, the less water the body contains. Body fat has little water.

Our significant organs comprise different amounts of water: brain, lungs, heart, liver and the kidneys contain a large quantity of water- between 65-85% depending on the organ, while bones contain less water (22%).

Drinking 1 can of soda daily equals 50 pounds of sugar per year!!!
Sweet and stick soda are the largest cause of added sugar in the diet, and a child’s risk of obesity accumulates with every additional daily serving of a sugary beverage. When we view the U.S. as a whole where there is an infectious of overweight and obesity and we look at the diseases that are correlated with obesity, even in young children, 50 pounds of sugar a year, with added sugar to rest of the diet, is way too much.
